A paper manufacturer in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, faced excessive heat generated by its production machinery and needed to reduce indoor temperatures across a densely packed plant floor. With production equipment occupying most of the interior space, there was no room for conventional AHUs and ducting — so Holtop engineered a creative, low-investment cooling solution.
After studying the site, Holtop's engineers specified a large-airflow (23,000 m³/h) evaporative air cooler combined with roof ventilation fans to extract heat and cool the workspace. This customized approach delivered effective cooling at a lower capital cost than a ducted system — and was readily accepted by the client.
Not every factory can accommodate a standard ducted HVAC system. Holtop's ability to design custom industrial ventilation and evaporative cooling solutions for space-constrained plants sets it apart as a problem-solving HVAC manufacturer for demanding industrial projects.
